We'll Meet Again
Born to Validar Caladrius and an unknown woman, Simurgh grew up as a devout follower of the Grimleal under their father's leadership. The brutal war waged by the Exalt of Ylisse devastated Plegia and lead to a bloody revolution in which the Grimleal gained massive sway over the public in their cooperation with the head of the movement: Gangrel. Despite their improved status and influence, Simurgh grew to detest their father as they learned more about the circumstances of their birth and fled the country into Ylisse, which had also seen a change in leadership. Upon crossing the border, "Simon" is afflicted with amnesia and forgets the past eighteen years of their life. The only memory that remains is from a dream they'd just had, where they fought alongside a man named Chrom to defeat a wicked sorcerer. The Shepherds, a military vanguard lead by Prince Chrom of Ylisse, recruit Simon as their resident tactician in spite of questionable allegiance. They prove a valuable ally in the growing conflict and subsequent war with Plegia, becoming one of the now Exalt's closest confidants. After three years of peace, war with the Valmese Empire brings the Shepherds back into the field, and the truth of Simon's relation to now Plegian King Validar and the Grimleal come to light, as well as their true identity as the vessel of the Fell Dragon Grima. Having been taken over by the dragon in an alternate future, they tried to possess their past self when heroes fled to this timeline to try and stop their rise to power, causing their amnesia and prophetic dream. Now working with the heroes from the future, children of the Shepherds of that world, they confront the dragon head on. Simon deals the finishing blow to Grima, causing both of them to be completely destroyed.

Simon is summoned to the world of Askr following their demise, revived by the powers of the Death Goddess Hel. They do their best to conceal their undead nature from their allies, and serves in the many conflicts Askr is embroiled in. During these many years, they find a way to restore their body to it's proper state among the living. When the time comes for the Heroes to return to their worlds, Simon accepts whatever fate may await them.

One year after the death of Grima, a living Simon is found by Chrom, now free of the Fell Dragon's influence. Simon continues to serve as the Exalt's advisor and right hand, unless brought elsewhere by the desires of their loved ones.

Thought we had it all
(Trivia for my portrayal of Robin)• The Simurgh is a bird from Persian mythology, often compared to a phoenix or sphinx. It is part mammal with breasts and teeth, sometimes depicted with a human female face. The bird has lived for countless centuries, having witnessed the destruction of the world thrice and possessing knowledge of all ages. Every 1,700 years it is engulfed in flames and reborn. Also has a deep hatred for snakes.
• Caladrius is a pure white bird from Roman mythology, which absorbs plagues and flies to the sun to burn away the sickness, curing itself and others. It lives in the home or garden of the king.
• Simon is a Rebis, an alchemical creation with the features of both a man and a woman. Validar performed a ritual on Simon's mother during pregnancy, altering the developing child to become a perfect vessel for the divine power of Grima. They were born with one male breast and one female, which was surgically removed. Simon has both sets of sexual characteristics, and all are functional.
• Accepts being referred to with any pronouns or titles, personally leaning towards nonbinary or male.
• While not genetically a Manakete, an infusion of Divine Dragon blood during gestation was used much like in the creation of Grima to give them greater power and extend their lifespan.
• Their complexion is naturally very pale, both due to a lack of sun exposure and genetics. Validar's own natural hue would be far less corpse-like if not for many years of intense dark magic corrupting his skin.
• Simon chose to deal the final blow to Grima, destroying them both as a result. They were summoned to Askr as an undead warrior of Hel, and regained their life before returning to Ylisse alive once more. They no longer bear the Brand of Defile, and is immune to Grima's influence and magic.
• Did not pair up during Awakening. Their romantic relationships develop in Askr or post-game. As such, they aren't the parent of any of the second gens, but isn't bothered if they call them their parent. (I may change my mind on this but for now it's how we're rolling)
• When forms such as their Brave costume, their memories of the future of Askr are suppressed. Or perhaps they're just being cryptic to not mess with fate.
